Singing lessons with Piran Legg, MPerf (Distinction), Artists Diploma from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama
Are you a young singer hoping to build your technique and confidence? Are you a keen amateur singer or part of a group and looking to have fun improving your vocal skills? Are you a seasoned professional singer looking for some new technical advice or regular lessons? If so these are the lessons for you!
I am an experienced teacher of all abilities and ages with a strong background in vocal pedagogy, accent method and a wide knowledge of technique. I also have great experience as professional opera singer of some years, singing roles with companies such as Scottish Opera and the London Symphony Orchestra. I believe there is so much to be gained from enjoying your singing to the full!
Lessons will be charged at £30 per 45 min session online. In person, £42 per hour spent at my local studio, Greenfields United Church, Shrewsbury, SY1 2PZ.
All you will need for online:
The Zoom App installed on a computer or iPad. The ability to link up with video and audio, via the app, gives an excellent alternative to lessons in person, without any of the travel! Ideal for working on your singing without risk, when travelling from your own home is not possible.
A separate device to play backing tracks with. A bluetooth speaker would be ideal but other devices such as your phone will also suffice. Just something that you can sing along with, whilst using Zoom on your main device.
A well lit room to act as your practice room for the duration of the lesson.
